Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., on Friday co-sponsored legislation Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-Willsboro, introduced to re-instate the "Year-Round Pell" program, according to the Library of Congress government information web site.
The program would provide supplemental Pell grants for summer and other nontraditional semesters.
The legislation -- HR 3180 -- had 48 co-sponsors, as of Tuesday -- 26 Republicans and 22 Democrats.
