15th Congressional District: Eric Swalwell

Eric Swalwell, a Democrat, deserves to be elected to another term as the 15th Congressional District representative.

His challengers include Republican Rudy Peters and non-partisan Brendan St. John. The two top finishers will face each other in November. We disagree with both challengers on a variety of issues, including their dismissal of climate change science and opposition to an assault weapon ban.

In order to work across the aisle, Swalwell co-founded the United Solutions Caucus in the House during his first term, bringing together members of both parties to find common ground.

Congressman Swalwell serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where he is the ranking member on the CIA Subcommittee. He also serves on the House Judiciary Committee.

Swalwell has been a powerful advocate for a thorough investigation into Russian intervention during the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.

He continues to be a strong voice for his district in Congress expressing opposition to the administration’s reduction in environmental protections, its proposal to allow off-shore drilling, and the denial of climate change.

Swalwell keeps in touch with his constituents, holding town hall sessions on a regular basis to listen to concerns and answer questions.

Based on Swalwell's prominent leadership, we are wholeheartedly endorsing his bid for reelection.
