Rep. Eric Swalwell said that members of the Trump administration have ties to Russia and while he does believe there is direct evidence, a case can be prosecuted solely on circumstantial evidence.

Ro Khanna, D-Fremont, would have had a chance of reaching Capitol Hill if California voters had not ended the closed-primary system at the start of the decade. Swalwell would have been swamped by longtime Rep. Pete Stark in 2012, and Khanna would have been beaten by Rep. California Democrat takes to House floor to denounce Rep. Steve King's 'hateful and divisive' comments
A House Democrat, touting a poster portraying well-known Americans of immigrant heritages, ripped into Iowa Republican Steve King on Wednesday over his widely rebuked comment that “we can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”
California Rep. Eric Swalwell took to the floor of the House with the poster, which featured photos of prominent public figures as babies, including Barack Obama, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Walt Disney and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. The poster was emblazoned with a “Somebody Else’s Babies” hashtag.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) --The Trump administration begins this week and for many a cloud hangs over his presidency because of Russia's meddling in the election process.
East Bay Congressman Eric Swalwell spoke with ABC7 News to talk about his call for an investigation into Russia's election hacking and the fact that lawmakers are boycotting Trump's inauguration.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senators Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Representatives Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) introduced the bipartisan, bicameral Rapid DNA Act. This legislation would establish a system to enable law enforcement officials to use Rapid DNA instruments to help reduce DNA backlogs. Unlike traditional DNA analysis, which can take weeks, Rapid DNA analysis permits processing of DNA samples in approximately 90 minutes or less.Read more
Incumbent Eric Swalwell, a Democrat, is seeking his third term in Congress as the representative of the 15th District, which includes Livermore, Pleasanton and Dublin. He is opposed by Republican Danny Turner.
The Independent recommends Swalwell for his response to and interaction with his constituents. He regularly holds town hall meetings and attends a variety of events ranging from parades to workshops with young industry workers.Read more
